Reshooting on monday pt1

On friday the 24th of October we went to Holloway to shot Emmanuel aka 'Brix' scene which was based at Yuksil's house. Due to circumstances and misunderstandings we were unable to take lights on the friday. As an an alternative we used a desk light which led our shots to be low key and to also have an orange effect with a yellow colour pallet

Although we wanted our shots to have a low key lighting effect, this did not go according to plan. This is some of the footage of what we shot on the 24th of October.

As you can see in these pictures, the shots look very grainy and also shadowed and this is not the effect that we set out to get on our storyboard.

 As you can see here, these are some of the shots which have inspired us to make our scene like our music video.





In this case we will be reshooting on Monday 10th November in order to correct these shots.

Current Level: 15/20 (B)

Feedback

Strengths:

• Nicely presented
• Being more creative in the range of ICT and apps you are using
• All posts from the checklist are mostly complete
• Greater frequency in posting to the blog more recently
• Lots of detail and some excellent work in the research post

Weaknesses:

• Research posts do not have as much detail as planning posts.
• My time management is inconsistent – For example, most research posts were posted on 28/09.

Targets given:

• Try to be consistent in the level of detail you offer in ALL posts regardless of how you decide to present them (doesn’t just have to be detail in writing, can be visually, can be in the way you construct them etc…)
• Post with frequent intervals rather than posting everything on the same day
• Continue to use ICT to present in a creative way
• Think of some interesting ways to post to the blog during the production phase

My response:

I think that I do need to start doing extra blogs that show the groups journey, instead of only doing blogs that are needed. Also, detail in my blogs are beginning to decrease, so I need to improve this. I acknowledge that I do post blogs in bulk, so I need to work on spreading out the days I post blogs. I think that all my targets are achievable and I will start working on them.

Positives:

• The majority of blogs stated on the guideline sheet have been completed

After receiving feedback from my Blogs, I have constructed three goals:

• Increase the number of blogs by following the blog check-list
• Add more detail to future blogs 
• Explore new methods of presenting my blogs

Blogging health check feedback

I have received feedback on my blogs. From my feedback I have set myself a few targets. Overall, I have a low number of blog posts and some of them are incomplete which I have to finish. I also have to make sure I blog consistently throughout the week and blog things that are not on the blogging checklist.
