Post synergy Research

In lesson I analysed key features used to create a clear brand identity for that artist across the products such as the Album cover and the music video single which relates to the album cover. In this blog post I am going to research and analyse an artist in the same genre as my chosen gong (Krept and Konan ft Ari- The other side). The genre of this song is Rap.

The artist which I will be researching and analysing is Yungen and his album Black and Red.

Album Cover Name: Project Black and Red

There are many key features highlighted in the album cover such as:

• Colour scheme; Red, black, white and grey are all used in the album cover. 

• Font of the cover is similar to italic writing. 

• Artist also features in the album cover 

Another part of the synergy is the created is the music video form the artist Yungen called 'Ain't On Nuttin'

        

 I used Fotor photo collage in order to develop a collage of the video. The key features highlighted in the video is the dark colour scheme; all colours used in the album cover is also used in the video (Red, Black and grey. Lastly, the artist Yungen also features in the video as a performer just like the album.
